After throwing out that thoroughly rogueish remark, the Ancestor Spirit fell silent and did not utter another word.

Benjamin frowned.

...It was an Ancestor Spirit, for heaven's sake. Could it really act so shamelessly?

He turned and glanced at the red membrane at the entrance. Its toughness truly exceeded his expectations. The system had just conducted an emergency analysis, but reported that aside from spiritual power, it contained a great many unidentified substances. The system could not determine the nature of those components, much less find a way to counter them.

If it could not be countered, then brute force was the only option.

Benjamin immediately went to the entrance and unleashed every skill he had. Whether it was all manner of water-element magic under his control or Elemental Command: Destruction... aside from "Descent of Water," he used every method available. Yet the results were equally unsatisfactory.

Benjamin had a headache. He had been in here for so long already and still had no idea what was happening outside. This was not the time to patiently sit down and conduct research.

"You two, try Mind Arts. Use your spiritual power to break through that barrier," he immediately ordered the siblings.
