At that moment, everyone from The Church was dumbfounded.
"W-Where... did they go?"
The Skyver Mountains loomed into the clouds ahead, their bare rock faces utterly empty. Yet they had watched with their own eyes as that ice ship charged straight into the cliff wall, then vanished completely, without leaving even a trace.
They could not believe their eyes. Frozen where they stood, they had no idea what to do for a while. Should they keep chanting? But... the people were gone. Where were they supposed to throw the ultimate spell they had spent all that time chanting? Yet they did not dare stop either. His Holiness the Pope had only just flown into a rage; if anyone else stepped on his toes, no one could bear the consequences.
In the end, Grant himself stopped first.
He stared at the mountain wall ahead, his face filled with disbelief, and remained silent for a long time. Then his gaze turned cold. He led his people charging up the mountain, even attempting to "charge into" it as Benjamin's ice ship had. But the result went without saying: they smashed a huge crater into the rock wall, yet made no progress at all.
In a towering rage, Grant controlled the giant figure and began hammering the Skyver Mountains with punch after punch, seemingly determined to bore straight through the entire mountain. But... after roughly fifteen minutes, the figure appeared to reach its time limit. It turned into Holy Light and slowly faded into the air. The mountainside had been blasted into a massive hollow halfway up, but nothing had changed.
What was even stranger was that when they tried to sense the princess's location, their senses told them that she was inside the "mountain," slowly moving eastward, apparently not far away from them.
