Night quietly fell.
"They'll probably launch their offensive tomorrow."
At Koester's north gate, Benjamin and several mages stood atop the walls, gazing into the distance at the Kingdom Army's camp. There was no moon tonight. As time passed, the lights in the camp gradually went out, quickly blending into the night. They could see soldiers patrolling around the camp. The Kingdom Army looked extremely cautious.
However, the Black Nightmare Army was prepared as well. Benjamin was glad the enemy had not attacked today; otherwise, their response would have been terribly rushed.
"Stay ready at all times. The enemy could attack at any moment." He spoke slowly. "We know nothing about the situation inside their camp. Who knows what kind of battle plan they might have?"
At that, Maurice frowned. "Did the scouts we sent out this afternoon find anything?"
Benjamin shook his head and replied, "No. They couldn't get anywhere near the Kingdom Army's camp."
In this battle against The Church, the intelligence they possessed was indeed far worse than last time. They did not even know the composition of the enemy's forces. But there was nothing to be done.
