To be honest, there was a certain kind of person who was incredibly detestable.

The key was that when such people saw others working hard and striving forward, they would criticize them too, calling them stupid and saying they were caught up in pointless competition.
People like that were fucking disgusting.

But if you lay flat while claiming to have seen through reality, thinking yourself smarter than everyone else, and criticizing those who worked hard to push ahead, then you were nothing but a complete brain-dead idiot.
