Ch. 584Unstoppable, Better Than Destiny

Garos awakened as a Crown Rank and fought off the alliance forces led by Varta, Kahn, Afra, and the Crown Ranger. He defeated them with rapidly formed Dragon Aura Bombs and reflected that after more than three hundred years, he had finally reached Crown Rank.

  • Varta rallied the allied fighters and transformed with his three pathways before charging Garos, but Garos overpowered his attacks and wounded him.
  • Kahn joined Varta in attacking Garos, while the Crown Ranger shot an arrow that saved Kahn from a dragon claw.
  • Varta and Kahn tried to hold Garos off as Afra prepared a Destiny Rank spell, but Garos revealed he could rapidly form Dragon Aura Bombs and blasted the magic tower and fighters.
  • Garos's Dragon Aura Bombs devastated the battlefield, leaving Varta barely alive, Kahn missing, Afra unconscious, and the Crown Ranger fleeing.
  • Garos surveyed the defeated forces and said he had finally reached Crown Rank after more than three hundred years.

Ch. 585Garos: I Do Whatever I Want!

Garos defeated the invading legends, captured Varta’s soul and turned it into a Soul-Matter Crystal, then pursued the fleeing Celine beyond the Lain Plateau. Celine surrendered beneath his wings, while the other defeated legends accepted capture.

  • The Aura lords arrived after the battle, and the Eastern Alliance and Southern Domain legends gave up resisting as Garos’s allies surrounded them.
  • Garos learned that concealed Space Locks had prevented the lords from teleporting to his aid, then agreed to visit Anqiya after recovering.
  • Garos confronted the dying Varta, rejected his hopes of reincarnation, and crushed his soul into a Soul-Matter Crystal for the Sanctum.
  • Garos tore open space and disappeared; the remaining enemy legends surrendered to the Aura forces.
  • Celine fled beyond the Lain Plateau, but Garos emerged from a spatial rift before her and demanded that she kneel or be crushed.
  • Celine prostrated herself and submitted to Garos.

Ch. 586Crown Rank Enhancement, Resurrection Forbidden, Trait Transformation

After returning from his long sleep, Garos recovered at a kingdom-wide feast while learning about dangers and conflicts that had arisen during his absence. He examined his transformed traits in his Small World and found that he could no longer resurrect through his Dragon Jade, but had gained a far stronger form of undying survival.

  • Garos celebrated his awakening at the Dragon Court feast and learned from Gordon that the Ten-Thousand-Laws White Dragon hunted legends in the Coldwater Ocean, while the Raging Tide Dragon Realm had driven the Lord of Thunder into turmoil.
  • Gordon described refusing the Lord of Thunder's request for military aid, and Garos approved his choice and ordered him to keep managing the kingdom.
  • Garos entered his Small World after the feast and found that his body had grown substantially and his evolved Dragon Jade could no longer revive him.
  • Garos discovered that Undying Life now kept him alive through fatal injuries while any energy remained, and that Rebirth at Death's Door and Colossal Beast Form had also transformed into stronger traits.

Ch. 587Shining Garos, Super Saiyan Dragon

Garos perfected Aura Burst and developed its dangerous second stage, Shining Form, while gaining traits that helped him recover afterward. In the Dream World, Seroel warned him that Reinhart, a Crown Rank who had once feared Garos, was close to reaching Destiny Rank and might soon challenge him.

  • Garos used his Dragon Jade to sustain Aura Burst, releasing vast energy before compressing it into a golden Shining Form that greatly increased his power.
  • Garos learned that Shining Form nearly exhausted him, then used Rebirth at Death's Door, Furnace Stomach, and Abyssal Breath Lungs to survive and recover.
  • Garos entered the expanded Dream World and learned that Seroel had reached Life Level thirty-three, surpassing him.
  • Seroel told Garos that Reinhart had repeatedly dreamed of him and had recently begun facing him instead of fleeing.
  • Seroel warned that Reinhart was at level 34.9999... and might reach Destiny Rank by overcoming his fear of Garos.
  • Garos accepted the possibility of fighting Reinhart and hoped the future Destiny Rank opponent would test his strength.

Ch. 588Defying the Natural Order: Heaven’s Mandate Challenges Crown Rank

Reinhart revisited the burdens and failures that had haunted him since his youth, then broke through to the Destiny Rank at the foot of the Dragon Court. He challenged Ignas not to win, but to face his past, and Ignas invited him to ascend.

  • Reinhart wandered through the Red Emperor Royal City and remembered his strict father, the hopes placed on him, and the old king who told him he owed Theo nothing.
  • Reinhart realized that Theo had prospered under the Aura Kingdom and that his lingering obsessions, including his fear of the Red Emperor, had held him back.
  • Reinhart reached the Dragon Court and, with each step, unleashed a growing aura that transformed him from a weathered man into his youthful self and carried him into the Destiny Rank.
  • Reinhart ignored the Dragons of Aura and formally challenged Ignas, saying he wished to face him rather than claim victory.
  • Ignas answered, “Ascend,” and Reinhart flew toward the summit of the Dragon Court.

Ch. 590Light and Dark, the Clash of Mechanics and Numbers

Reinhart met Red Emperor Pale Star and challenged him to a duel so he could face his past, then fought him in a small world with his light and dark Domains. Reinhart lost after exhausting his powers, but Red Emperor Pale Star spared him and returned him to the platform above the clouds.

  • Reinhart greeted Red Emperor Pale Star, explained that he had come to face his past rather than avenge Theo, and asked for a one-on-one duel.
  • Red Emperor Pale Star accepted Reinhart’s challenge and led him through a Space Rift to a barren Small World.
  • Reinhart attacked with Dawn and Eternal Night, using Great Dark Heaven, Radiant Domain, and End Arc to wound Red Iron Dragon while dodging his counterattacks.
  • Red Iron Dragon adapted to Reinhart’s Domains and overwhelmed him, forcing him to exhaust all nine uses of Nine Deaths, One Life and his final enhanced swords.
  • Reinhart admitted defeat and asked Red Iron Dragon to end his life, but Red Iron Dragon spared him and carried him back above the clouds.

Ch. 591A Double-Edged Sword, Journey to Orotara

Garos discussed how Reinhart’s loyalty could strengthen Aura and advised Gordon to secure it by making Reinhart a beloved protector of Theo rather than relying on coercive control. With Reinhart stationed in Aura, Garos planned to travel to Orotara and meet Seroel in person.

  • Gordon welcomed Reinhart’s loyalty, saying a living Destiny Rank would help Aura defend itself against the White Calamity and other threats.
  • Gordon proposed pressuring weakened kingdoms into becoming Aura’s vassals and taking Farrell’s Black Oilfield; Garos told him to wait for the kingdoms to approach and approved tearing up the Non-Aggression Pact with Farrell.
  • Gordon worried that no contract could reliably control Reinhart, and Garos explained that Destiny Ranks could not be absolutely bound and should be understood as people with feelings and interests.
  • Garos prompted Gordon to apply his experience reshaping other kingdoms’ attitudes, and Gordon planned to present Reinhart as Theo’s returning Guardian God and spread the story through songs and biographies.
  • Garos approved Gordon’s plan, then decided that Reinhart’s presence would let him travel to Orotara and meet Seroel in reality.

Ch. 592Blood-Plundering Demon Dragon, Star-Self True Form, Eye of Instant Death

Galkro led Aura’s takeover of Farrell’s Black Oilfield, resisted his Blood-Plundering Demon Dragon trait’s urge to slaughter, and returned to the Red Emperor Royal City. Garos explored his newly awakened Star-Self True Form and reviewed the strengths and limits of his four pathways.

  • At the Black Oilfield, Galkro and three Aura legends forced the Farrell garrison to surrender, and Galkro crushed a soldier who defied him.
  • Galkro felt his Blood-Plundering Demon Dragon trait urge him to kill the captives and challenge Garos, but memories of his father stopped him, and he resolved to restrain his desire to kill.
  • Aura’s legion took control of the Black Oilfield, escorted away the captured Farrell legend, and Galkro flew back toward the Red Emperor Royal City.
  • Garos used Star-Self True Form to create a second Red Iron Dragon body and tested its skills, transformations, and Dragon Qi costs.
  • Garos assessed his Star-Self, Wild, Eternal Death, and Mind pathways, considered the future Eyes of Instant Death skill, and trained by having his Star-Self Dragon fight him.

Ch. 593Lord of Atlant

Galkro sought Garos’s advice about controlling his Blood-Plundering Demon Dragon trait, and Garos urged him to temper his will in the Fey Wilds. Meanwhile, Garos compelled the surface nations to accept Aura’s Integration Treaty, and the chapter ended with three-quarters of the Atlant Continent under his rule.

  • Galkro confessed to Garos that his trait had made him want to kill, and Garos advised him to coexist with the desire and travel to the Fey Wilds to strengthen his will.
  • King August of Farrell and King Severus of Ratona visited Garos, who presented the Integration Treaty and gave the nations one month to sign it.
  • Augustus and Severus asked Holden to intervene, but Holden declined to challenge Aura while the demonic threat remained unresolved.
  • Farrell and Latona sent representatives to sign the treaty, and the other nations followed before the deadline.
  • Gordon reported that all ten nations of the Eastern Alliance and all nine nations of the Southern Domain had signed, placing three-quarters of Atlant beneath Garos’s rule.

Ch. 594Aura's People: Magic? Even Kobolds Won't Study It!

Xia'er and Rodrigo freed Afra after Ratona accepted Aura's rule, and Garos offered her a place in Aura to train Spellcasters and help develop its magic. Afra agreed, while Garos turned his attention to the conflict involving the Raging Tide Dragon Realm and the Primordial Dragon Lacirien.

  • Xia'er and Rodrigo discussed Rodrigo's new status as a Legend and Xia'er's long service to Garos as they walked through the Heroic Spirit Sanctum.
  • Xia'er released Afra after explaining that Ratona's treaty with Aura required the captured Legends to be freed, then brought her to Garos.
  • Garos asked Afra to remain in Aura, teach magic, train Spellcasters, and serve as his sparring partner; Afra agreed after learning that her loved ones were safe in the royal capital.
  • Afra pointed out flaws in the Sanctum's teleportation array and offered to repair it, so Garos ordered Xia'er to take her back and arrange her work in the capital.
  • Garos considered whether to intervene in the stalemated war between Braketon and the Raging Tide Dragon Realm, where the Bronze Dragon King and Lacirien remained involved.

Ch. 595Garos Wants to Go to Sea

Garos trained with Reinhart, heard how Theo honored Reinhart, and accepted Lamorien’s request for help against the Raging Tide Dragon Realm. He sent Reinhart to aid the Helmode Dragon Brood while deciding to visit Orotara instead of venturing beneath the sea himself.

  • Garos let Reinhart attack him to hone both their abilities, then fought Reinhart through a Star-Self Dragon clone that pushed him to the brink several times before Reinhart defeated it.
  • Reinhart told Garos that Theo’s people had celebrated his return with titles and a statue, and Garos reassured him that he deserved their gratitude.
  • Lamorien offered to submit the Helmode Dragon Brood to Garos if Garos helped repel two Crown Rank Metal Dragons attacking his territory.
  • After Reinhart warned that Lamorien could not be trusted, Garos decided the Raging Tide Dragon Realm was the greater concern and ordered Reinhart to help the Helmode Dragon Brood without killing any Metal Dragons.
  • Garos returned to the Material Plane, considered going beneath the sea, and chose to visit Orotara while leaving a Star-Self Body to guard his kingdom.

Ch. 596A Humiliation Beyond Endurance

Lamorrien and Alvia faced an attack by the Raging Tide Dragon Realm, but Reinhart arrived on Garos’s orders and forced the Metal Dragons to retreat. After the battle, Lamorrien brooded over his humiliation and heard a mysterious voice offer him power in exchange for prayer and sacrifices.

  • Alvia urged Lamorrien to stop relying on Garos, while Lamorrien insisted Garos would support the Chromatic Dragons and admitted he believed the Red Emperor could restore the Dragon Race.
  • The Gold Dragon and Bronze Dragon led the Metal Dragons in an attack on Helmode, forcing Lamorrien and Alvia into a desperate battle.
  • Reinhart arrived on Garos’s orders to mediate, but when the Gold Dragon refused, Reinhart fought him inside his Dark Domain and severely wounded him.
  • The Gold Dragon ordered a retreat, and Reinhart refused Lamorrien’s request to pursue the Metal Dragons beyond his assigned task.
  • Back on the cliff, Lamorrien laughed at needing a human’s help, then heard a voice offer him power if he prayed and made sacrifices.

Ch. 597Seroel: Red Emperor, You Wouldn't Want Anything to Happen to Your Offspring, Would You?

Garos told Seroel that the Frenzied Flame that had once infected him was likely the same force as Orotara’s Fury Curse, and revealed that he had mastered it. After learning that Laria was struggling against overwhelming rage beasts, Garos left a star-self clone to guard the Aura Kingdom and traveled to Orotara himself.

  • In the Dream World, Garos explained to Seroel that the Frenzied Flame had infected his father Gorsas and later spread to him, and Seroel concluded it matched Orotara’s Fury Curse.
  • Garos demonstrated that he could summon and control the Frenzied Flame, while explaining that he wanted to investigate its origins and connections among the infected.
  • Seroel told Garos that Laria was besieged by countless rage beasts, including several legendary ones, and admitted that she had secretly helped him.
  • Garos created a star-self dragon to guard the Aura Kingdom, instructed Gordon to keep his departure secret, and left the clone in charge.
  • Garos sensed Laria through their blood kin link, located him in battle, tore open space, and traveled to Orotara.

Ch. 598Frenzied Flame? A Little Snack!

Laria led Aura’s warriors into battle against a growing Rage Tide, but several Legendary Rage Beasts and the Fury Curse forced him toward retreat. Garos Ignas arrived, destroyed the horde, and absorbed the Frenzied Flame infecting the battlefield.

  • Laria rejected the idea of seeking help and ordered Aura’s forces to stand and fight the approaching Rage Tide.
  • Laria and Aura’s warriors attacked the horde, and Laria killed its Legendary Rage Lion leader in close combat.
  • Three more Legendary Rage Beasts attacked Laria, while the Fury Curse began clouding his senses and forcing him to consider retreat.
  • Garos Ignas emerged through a tear in the sky and burned the Rage Beasts, including the remaining Legendary creatures, to ash.
  • Garos drew the Frenzied Flame from the battlefield and infected warriors, then absorbed it and suppressed its influence within himself.

Ch. 600Mutation and Evolution, a Queen of Stark Contrasts

Garos reassured Laria after the battle, praised his decision to retreat, and then wiped out the major Rage Beast hordes around his territory to strengthen his Frenzied Flame. He traveled to the Greenwild Kingdom to meet Seroel, and the chapter ended with the two playfully acting out a confrontation before she took him sightseeing.

  • Garos told Laria that retreat had been wise, praised his defense of the territory, and warned him to seek approval before sharing information about his father again.
  • Garos met Laria’s children, Talensha and her red dragon sibling, and recognized that his Red Lotus Marks were passing down through successive generations.
  • Garos tore through nearby Rage Beast hordes, absorbed their Frenzied Flame, and considered combining its mutation power with his Adaptive Evolution.
  • Garos returned to Laria’s camp and said the major Rage Beast hordes had been cleared before setting out for the Greenwild Kingdom.
  • Garos crossed the war-ravaged lands of Orotara and entered the Emerald Royal City in human form, where Seroel met him.
  • Seroel and Garos staged a mock confrontation, then she linked arms with him and offered to show him around while keeping her queenly attire.

Ch. 601Spring Is in the Air, Twin Dragons Dance

Garos toured the Emerald Royal City with Seroel, learned about her Dream Oak and the popular card game Heroes' Glory, and accepted a meteorite fragment containing Frenzied Flame as her gift. The chapter ended with Garos and Seroel retreating beneath his wings in her nest.

  • Garos and Seroel toured the Emerald Royal City, where Seroel explained that she had brought the Dream Oak's seed back from a deep dream.
  • Seroel showed Garos the Wish Tree and explained that the people respected and feared her as their ruler.
  • Garos and Seroel watched a game of Heroes' Glory, and Garos suggested ways to adapt the card game for the Aura Kingdom.
  • Seroel led Garos to her palace in the Dream Oak's canopy and gave him a meteorite fragment filled with Frenzied Flame.
  • Seroel told Garos she wanted his favor, and Garos drew her close as the nest's vines and flowers enclosed them.

Ch. 605Giant King

Greenwild Dragons discussed Queen Seroel’s relationship with the Red Emperor while she remained sealed in her nest, and Amelia revealed that Seroel had pursued him herself. Amelia warned the dragons not to spread the news, especially because the Giant King Halduen had long pursued Seroel and might react violently; Seroel remained in her nest as the dragons dispersed.

  • Gregon and the other Greenwild Dragons speculated that the Red Emperor had courted Seroel while she had stayed in her nest for thirty-nine days.
  • Amelia revealed that Seroel had pursued the Red Emperor, prepared meteorite fragments as gifts, and studied love stories to win him over.
  • The dragons discussed Halduen’s history as a half-dragon Giant King and his repeated, rejected attempts to court Seroel.
  • The dragons recalled that Halduen had killed male dragons who pursued Seroel and had declared her to be his.
  • Amelia insisted that Seroel would handle Halduen herself and ordered the dragons to keep her relationship with the Red Emperor secret.
  • Amelia flew away, the dragons dispersed, and Seroel remained concealed in her nest.

Ch. 606Old Grudges, the Sudden Visit of the Dragon of Ten Thousand Laws

After emerging from the Dream Oak lair, Garos learned from Seroel about Orotara’s war between the Nausir elves and Cantum orcs, then examined a Rage Meteorite in his Small World. He learned that White Calamity was flying toward the Red Emperor Royal City, while the Star-Self Dragon began to stir in Atlant.

  • Garos and Seroel emerged from the Dream Oak lair, and Seroel explained how the orcs had invaded Orotara and how the Greenwild Kingdom and Nausir resisted them.
  • Garos and Seroel discussed the Greenwild Kingdom’s uneasy relationship with the Giant Kingdom and Halduen, before Amelia summoned Seroel to handle important affairs.
  • Garos entered his Small World and found that the Frenzied Flame inside Seroel’s meteorite was purer than the flame carried by living creatures.
  • Gordon warned Garos that White Calamity had crossed the Permafrost Tundra coastline and was heading toward the Red Emperor Royal City.
  • Garos told Gordon to track White Calamity, then settled down to wait as the Star-Self Dragon opened his eyes in the Red Emperor Royal City.

Ch. 607Spell-Eater Dragon, Dragon Mental Illness, Time Divine Power

Garos used the Star-Self Dragon to meet Hitherfell, the Destiny White Dragon, after she arrived at the Aura Kingdom’s Dragon Academy and overwhelmed its young dragons with her Dragon Might. Hitherfell showed interest in Garos’s ability to grasp time and his kingdom, then agreed to tour Aura with him while respecting his authority.

  • Garos used True Eye to observe Hitherfell, a rune-covered Spell-Eater Dragon, flying toward the Borderlands and wondered whether his unease meant he had a Dragon Mental Illness.
  • Hitherfell descended on the Dragon Academy, where Tressie welcomed and flattered her while the young dragons remained pinned down by her Dragon Might.
  • Hitherfell criticized the academy for teaching Chromatic Dragons to restrain their nature, and Tressie pretended to agree while awaiting support.
  • Garos arrived through a spatial rift, and his presence emboldened the young dragons and allowed Tressie to stand with greater confidence.
  • Garos and Hitherfell discussed his avatar, his rise to power, and whether he could grasp time; Hitherfell revealed that Odhos Vilaperion had stalled his advance while pursuing Time Divine Power.
  • Hitherfell asked Garos to show her around Aura, and he agreed on the condition that she obey his rules within his territory.

Ch. 608Ancient Storm Dragon, Devoted White Calamity, the True Danger

Lamorrien accepted the Chromatic Dragon Queen’s offer and began a painful transformation into a Storm Dragon. As Garos and Hitherfell traveled across the Central Continent, Hitherfell warned him that the Queen of Colors would become a danger he could not escape.

  • Lamorrien confronted the Dragon Queen’s offer, weighed the cost of becoming her apostle, and accepted her power.
  • The Dragon Queen’s Divine Blood enveloped Lamorrien and began remaking his body and bloodline into those of an ancient Storm Dragon.
  • Garos and Hitherfell visited the scar left by Garos’s destruction of an Abyssal Rift and discussed the threat of another demonic invasion.
  • Garos questioned Hitherfell about her former human companion, and she admitted that she had manipulated the legendary Spellcaster for his magical knowledge and wanted to resurrect him to undo her defeat.
  • Hitherfell warned Garos that the Chromatic Dragon Queen would target him as a promising Chromatic Dragon and might destroy what she could not claim; Garos remembered hearing her whispers before.
