Celebration Banquet!

On the evening of the day the championship tournament ended, Spirit Hall held a grand celebration banquet in the large banquet hall on the east side of the Central Arena.

The banquet hall was far larger than Li Long had expected. Twelve large soul-guided chandeliers hung from the vaulted ceiling, illuminating the entire space as brightly as day.

Long tables were arranged along the walls on both sides, draped in dark red tablecloths and laden with all manner of dishes and drinks.

Those invited included not only every member of the Spirit Team, but also representatives from the competing teams of the Heaven Dou Empire and the Star Luo Empire, as well as some of Spirit Hall's senior officials.

When Li Long entered the banquet hall in a light-colored formal outfit, the voices in the hall briefly fell silent before returning to normal.

He took a seat beside the main table, accepted the wineglass handed over by an attendant, and set it by his hand as his gaze swept over the faces still taking their seats around him.

He saw quite a few people he had encountered during the qualifiers and promotion matches. Several teams from the Heaven Dou Division sat near the western side, while representatives from the Star Luo Division had gathered around a table on the eastern side. The Four-Ring Soul Ancestor from the Heaven Dou Royal Academy Second Team was also among them.

Shui Leng and the members of the Skywater Team sat at a table near the middle of the southern side.

She was not wearing her academy uniform that night, having changed into a casual ice-blue outfit. Her long hair was unbound, falling naturally behind her shoulders.
