Watching the last alien disappear into the distance, Lin Feng and Yun Kai finally relaxed completely, body and mind.

Surrounded and hunted by nearly fifty Kings, no one could truly remain calm and composed.

The two exchanged a glance, and faint smiles appeared on both their faces.

They had not seen each other for nearly half a year, and they really had missed one another.

"Brother Feng, how did you know I was in Jueyu?" Yun Kai asked with a puzzled expression.

Ever since Lin Feng and Hong Yi had gone to the Pure Land, Yun Kai had spent the past half year adventuring within Dimensional Gates.

Although everyone in the Alliance knew his objective, he had not informed the others when he fought for the "key" within the Jueyu Space Gate.

He did this to keep Alliance members from risking their lives to help him.

The battle for the key was far too brutal. Jueyu was still alien territory, and the aliens held an absolute advantage in both numbers and strength. With Lin Feng absent, one careless mistake could cost a teammate their life.

That was something Yun Kai could not accept.

So he had carefully kept it hidden. He would rather fight alone than let the others know.

More than confusion, Yun Kai's eyes were filled with gratitude at that moment.

Had Lin Feng not arrived in time this time, not only would the hard-won "key" have been lost, but Yun Kai's life would have been forfeit as well.

Though he was deeply grateful, given their relationship, there was no need to deliberately say anything mushy like thanks.

That would only make them seem too distant.

Yun Kai was also shy and reserved by nature, and did not like expressing himself too directly.

"You caused such a huge
