"Heh heh!!!"
The Asura Path sneered. With a thought, the lasers in his hands instantly extended, like two laser swords from a sci-fi world.
"Mountain Collapse!"
With a thunderous roar, the Asura Path shot forward as though wound by a spring.
Soon, only two beams of laser light could be seen slicing through the night sky, weaving through the mountain-sized earth spikes as they sped toward the monster.
The lasers swept across one earth spike after another as easily as cutting tofu. Amid countless rumbles, the spikes snapped and crashed to the ground.
At the sight, a bloodthirsty gleam flashed through the monster's eyes. It roared again, dropped to all fours, and charged at the Asura Path like a massive armored tank.
But the monster had barely taken a few steps when the Deva Path's indifferent voice descended from the sky.
"Shinra Tensei!"
A powerful repulsive force erupted from the Deva Path, slamming viciously into the monster.
"Boom!"
The monster's rapidly charging body abruptly stalled beneath the blast of repulsion before being ruthlessly pressed into the ground.
"Bang... bang...!"
One meter, two meters... the monster's enormous body was continuously squeezed deeper into the earth by the terrifying repulsive force.
Before long, a deep crater hundreds of meters wide appeared in the ground, while the unidentified monster struggled violently at its bottom.
Yet even though the monster possessed strength capable of holding up the heavens, it was still woefully inadequate against that unrestrained repulsive force.
However, as he watched black mist continuously rise from the monster's body and repair the damage caused by the repulsive force, the Deva Path frowned.
This damned thing really is troublesome. Even the original body's current Sage Body might not possess such terrifying regenerative power.
