I'd written nearly 1.3 million words and serialized this for almost a year and a half. This book had finally come to an end. Thank you all for your support and encouragement along the way!
Let me make something clear here: I didn't suddenly get the inspiration to write this book after reading some so-called Korean manhwa. Really!
It was mainly because Douyin kept recommending those "high emotional intelligence versus low emotional intelligence" lines to me every day. On top of that, it kept recommending Rich Woman guides, I had moved into a new home, and my landlady was a beautiful older woman.
That was what inspired me to write this fun little story on a whim.
Although this was the conclusion of the main story, the book wasn't officially over yet. After all, I still had the side stories to write, and I'd be making those up over the next few days.
The side stories would give each heroine a satisfying look at her life raising children with the male lead several years later. They would also clarify why Landlady never showed up after the male lead got into a car accident, as well as reveal the eventual endings of the two younger sisters who weren't related by blood.
Anyway, the side stories would basically be independent little stories for each heroine and the male lead, set roughly ten years later!
As for that kind of ending where all the heroines lived harmoniously with the male lead, forgive me for saying so, but I really couldn't write that.
It would have felt far too out of place. After all, every heroine had a different personality, and forcing them all into one family would have been genuinely awkward.
I imagined all sorts of plots and accidents, but I just couldn't
