Final Thoughts

When I started writing this book, Tomato had not yet begun writing Origin Continent. Although I later read it several times, I was definitely far less familiar with it than with Swallowed Star.

Writing the Origin Continent plot felt like writing about another world entirely—it was very difficult. Aside from following the original plot, I could not find a good angle to approach it from.

After careful consideration, I decided it would be better to end it directly.

I was fairly satisfied with the early and middle portions of this book. Setting the other worlds aside, as a Swallowed Star fanfiction, the early and middle plotlines were quite fresh and smooth.

Later, due to various real-life reasons, my update rate declined. Combined with the poor point of entry, the later plot became rather bland and certainly could not be called good.

In the end, this Origin Continent arc can be considered a botched ending.

For the many readers who are still following along, there must surely be regrets. I sincerely apologize here.

The new book has just been released. Its title is Swallowed Star: Starting as a Late Bloomer.

Its timeline begins just after Origin Ancestor was suppressed. Like the early and middle portions of this book, it tells the story of an ordinary person. Those interested can take a look. What I can guarantee is that it will be as different as possible from Swallowed Star: Time Simulation and The Heavens: Becoming a God from Swallowed Star.

To be honest, the new book's performance has not been good. It could even be called very poor.
