You Faded Away in The Long Dark

He clicked into Survival Mode and found himself standing in a vast snowy field. Trees stood in the distance, while bizarrely shaped rocks surrounded him.

Yinzi nodded. Survival Mode really was vastly different from Story Mode.

He looked up at the sky. Snowflakes drifted down slowly, falling to the ground one by one and becoming part of the snowpack.

At his feet, the footprints he had just made circled around him.

Other than his own footprints, there was nothing on the ground.

Just a couple of small branches.

There was no map in the game. It did not show his location, and he could not find a destination or sense of direction.

Standing there, Yinzi froze.

What was he supposed to do?!

Oh, right—gather supplies. Food, firewood, and a safe cave that could shelter him from the wind and snow.

He started forward, trudging through the snow with deep and shallow steps.

"Brothers, five days. I have to survive for at least five days."

"For every day less than that, I'll give out a thousand-yuan lucky bag, okay?" He glanced around and counted on his fingers.

The viewers had been discussing how to tell directions and where he should go. The moment they heard that, they immediately got interested.

'If you put it like that, I'm definitely grabbing that lucky bag.'

'The luck king has arrived! Everyone else, move aside!'

'Hard to judge. I only have one opinion: he's just giving money away.'

'So seeing how tough things have been for us, you decided to help us out, huh?'

'Good, good, good. Looking across the entire chat, not a single person thinks the boss can survive five days.'

Yinzi saw that comment and nodded vigorously.

He had not even started yet, and everyone was already saying he would die.
