Yinzi spent some effort getting to the shrine on the other side of the lake. Before him lay a vast lake. He could have built a raft to cross it, but his current problem was that he had no source of power to carry him across.
There was no sail either. Even if there were, the wind was blowing in the wrong direction.

His stamina wheel would not hold out.
There were guardrails along one side of the current, so he would not be swept over the edge, but if he insisted on swimming, he would generally die right in the middle of the lake.
This was not like climbing mountains or scaling towers before. This was knowingly attempting the impossible.
"You can't swim across, bros." Yinzi waved his hand.

He remembered that some time after Breath of the Wild was released, its popularity had already begun to fade, yet it suddenly went viral again because of a teaching video.
It had been a physics class taught by a high school teacher from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The current flowed steadily to the left, but Link wanted to swim to the opposite shore.
In the video of that open class, the teacher stood at the podium while Link swam toward the other side of the river on the screen behind him.
Using the controller's joystick at the podium, the teacher demonstrated several ways for his students to cross the river.
For example,
