At noon on the second day after Han Luyi returned to Haicheng, Zhang Biao drove him to an old street.
After stopping the car, Zhang Biao carefully checked the address on the navigation app. "Boss Han, this should be the place."
Han Luyi got out and took a look. It was a private dining restaurant.
Not bad. It was much more understated than Wang Zhiyuan's private Clubhouse.
As he found himself being recognized on the street more and more often, Han Luyi gradually began to understand why these people liked arranging meals in such peculiar places.
At least they offered privacy.
Being too well known wasn't necessarily a good thing. You lost the freedom to wander into a public restaurant and eat some reheated, ready-made food.
Fortunately, he was only an entrepreneur, not a celebrity. Apart from people in related fields, few paid him much attention. People cared more about things directly connected to their own lives.
Han Luyi went inside and gave his surname and room number. A middle-aged waitress led him upstairs to a private room on the second floor.
Zheng Xiaobo was sitting inside alone.
When he saw Han Luyi enter, Zheng Xiaobo stood up.
"Boss Han, I've heard so much about you," he greeted him with a smile. Han Luyi smiled back. "I used to sit in the audience when you held all-hands meetings, Boss Zheng. Dingsheng wouldn't be where it is today without your leadership."
Zheng Xiaobo's expression stiffened.
Han Luyi had been kicked out of Dingsheng, and the circumstances hadn't exactly been honorable. Zheng Xiaobo had learned all about it when he made a point of looking into Han Luyi's background before coming.
But honestly, he felt rather unfairly blamed.
The mastermind behind that incident had been Wang Zhiyuan, his bitter rival. *Wang Zhiyuan
