Thor was unusually excited when his good friends came from Asgard to visit him. He warmly entertained all four of them, using the first pay he had ever earned in his life to treat them.
Thor was immensely proud of this. He pulled Jane and Daisy along as he chatted with his four friends about everything under the sun, constantly reminiscing about old times and talking about his life on Earth.
Under Thor's hospitality, the four of them sampled Earth beer and all sorts of snacks. They were equally delighted, even sighing over how much Thor had changed.
If there was anything that made them uncomfortable, it was probably Earth's rule against smashing cups after drinking.
Of course, after several rounds of drinks and dishes, the four finally told Thor why they had come to find him.
To stop Loki!
It turned out Thor had been deceived by Loki once again. The Allfather Odin had not died; he was merely sleeping. During Odin's slumber, Loki intended to use the Bifrost to directly destroy Jotunheim, the realm of the Frost Giants.
The Asgardian F4 could not stand by and watch, so they wanted Thor to return and stop Loki.
But after careful consideration, Thor rejected the Asgardian F4's proposal. The reason was simple: Odin had sealed away his divine power, and he could no longer lift his hammer. He was merely a somewhat stronger ordinary man.
Thor believed he had already lost his title as Prince of Asgard. He did not even count as a warrior anymore. Even if he returned, he would have no way of stopping Loki.
Because of this, the Asgardian F4 and Thor broke into a modest argument.
Just as the group of four was preparing to return and find another solution, the Bifrost descended from the
