It did not matter whether those he killed were enemies, evildoers, or nonhumans. There was no reason only he could kill others while others could not kill him, right?
So if he was killed, that was only natural. At this point, it was nothing more than a contest of true strength. If he lost and died, he would have no regrets.

When Wu Pifu finished clasping his fists and advanced with his blade in hand, his heart had already become utterly calm. Everything he had done recently, everything he had thought recently, all of it appeared in his mind like reflections upon a still lake.

Wu Pifu affirmed all of this, and his steps became even more resolute.
Seeing Wu Pifu approach with his blade, The Fish and The Butterfly were both greatly terrified. Things that stood above the mundane world outside became nothing more than a fish and a butterfly within this space—crippled ones, at that—and this revealed just how wretched their true nature was.
Seeing The Fish flop across the ground in an attempt to evade him, while The Butterfly flew as laughably as a cripple, Wu Pifu did not find it amusing in the slightest. Instead, he felt both sorrow and pride.
The sorrow came from the fact that such a thing, after occupying a lofty position, could make all the heroes of the world bow
