Wu Pifu fell from the spacetime corridor back into reality, then promptly began his routine bout of violent vomiting.
The Trans-Spacetime Wheel's method of piercing through spacetime was downright inhuman. It treated him like an object, squeezing and crushing him however it pleased. That was only because it was him—if it had been any other human, they would probably have become a lump of unrecognizable mush.
So... were each civilization's methods of traversing Dream Worlds, or traversing spacetime, actually only suited to that particular civilization?
Wu Pifu formed such a guess in his mind.
But how could he possibly know that things like the Main Brain and the Trans-Spacetime Wheel were so rare that not even one might emerge among the real civilizations of hundreds of eras? Whenever one did appear, it would inevitably become the very core of that civilization. At the same time, that civilization's supernatural path would inevitably develop around it. And every such thing had incomplete functions—either it could only pierce through spacetime, or, like the Main Brain, it issued missions to gather reality. Even that was enough to make countless civilizations drool with envy.
Wu Pifu rested for a long while before raising his head to look around. Then, to his surprise, he discovered that the Main Brain had disguised him once more. The three-and-a-half-meter-tall blond, blue-eyed giant was gone, replaced by that black-haired, black-eyed little brat with dead-fish eyes.
"...Seriously, Main Brain? Do we need to be this formal?" Wu Pifu muttered.
He had figured it out by now. Whenever a mission or operation offered tremendous benefits to the Main Brain, it would pay close attention, issue side missions, or, like this time, provide a disguise.
This was still something Wu Pifu did not know. Other than him and Chu Minghao, the Main Brain
