Wu Pifu had always been somewhat aware of his own unusual nature.

First of all, his Superbrain ability had come from nowhere.

He had originally been deeply puzzled, because his Superbrain Awakening Program had involved the Main Brain taking him charging into the negative region of his sea of consciousness, specifically seeking out the Superbrain personalities from past iterations to absorb and contain them. That was how he had attained his current Superbrain.

Then... surely other Superbrains could not all possess vast numbers of iterated personalities and equally immense accumulations of negativity?

He had always had this question. At the time, though, he had assumed that these Superbrains had been Superbrains from the start. The Main Brain only needed to plunge their consciousnesses into their minds for them to awaken, so there was no issue of iterated personalities or accumulated negativity.

But that did not explain the distinctions between him and the other pre-Third War cryosleep survivors.

There had always been cryosleep survivors from before the Third War like him. Even after Chu Minghao established Redemption Land and the overall state of human civilization improved a hundredfold, pre-Third War cryosleep survivors still appeared from time to time. Because of Wu Pifu's precedent, every one of them was immediately subjected to detailed examinations by the human governments to determine whether they possessed latent Superbrain potential or any other unusual traits.

But unfortunately, none of those cryosleep survivors was special in any way.

Wu Pifu even knew that none of the examined pre-Third War cryosleep survivors lived longer than a year. Even when the human governments deliberately supported and favored them, helping them obtain extraordinary cultivation arts in the Dream World that greatly increased their resistance to negativity—arts even more effective than Wu Pifu's initial Tiger Demon Art—they still could not escape
