Everyone at the table nodded.
Wu Pifu continued bluntly, "I understand the nature of stable, powerful political organizations. To put it simply, they regard themselves as supreme. Only political organizations capable of rivaling them are worthy of their attention. Everything else is vermin, just numbers. By their nature, if such an organization wants to kill you and you resist, then you've committed an unforgivable crime. I want to kill you, and you dare resist? That is a heinous sin—at least, that's what the organization believes."
Peter Yang, Ging, and Paris all showed expressions of agreement. Suo was indifferent, merely watching Wu Pifu with an inscrutable gaze. Only Kula still seemed to possess a young man's innocence, and he could not help saying, "But as far as I know, the 5V Countries aren't particularly brutal regimes. They're all democratic societies with elected presidents. There may be political ugliness, corruption, and bribery, but I know some good people too. It can't be as bad as you say, sir..."
