"Primordial Evil?"
Wu Pifu repeated it, then asked strangely, "You mean another path of advancement? Or... is this what Ascendant Bodies ultimately become?"
So far, based on what Wu Pifu and Gaia Human civilization had learned about the Dream World system, there was only one path of advancement: mortals ascended into Ascendant Bodies, and Ascendant Bodies then underwent a qualitative transformation into Sources. Beyond that, there were no other paths.
Of course, during his earlier experiences in the Mountain and Sea Realm, Wu Pifu had vaguely sensed that the path of Sources did not seem to be the correct one. Ascendant Bodies were divided into five ranks; perhaps the path of Ascendant Bodies was the truly correct path.
But from what Beelzebub was saying now, it seemed that continuing to advance as an Ascendant Body led to a terrible end as well?
Otherwise, why would that unimaginably huge thing below be called an "evil thing"?
Who would call themselves evil, demonic, monstrous, or anything like that?

Beelzebub immediately said, "I don't remember what happens when an Ascendant Body reaches the end of its path, but Primordial Evil is different. This thing is different..."
