(PS: It was a new month, and the double monthly ticket event was underway. Little Z was asking for monthly tickets~)
Wu Pifu walked out of the public restroom. Behind him, a grotesque monster with many hands, heads, and legs was slowly dissipating.
This space was only the size of five blocks. The kindergarten stood at its center, clearly the origin and core of everything. The other five blocks had not been haphazardly assembled from abstract concepts either; they genuinely resembled the twenty-first-century streets Wu Pifu knew.
Except... even with his incomplete memories, Wu Pifu did not think these five blocks were the area around the kindergarten from his childhood memories. What kind of kindergarten neighborhood in that country had a gun store?
The country from his original memories would never have had anything like gun stores!
So this was still a false world pieced together from his fragmented memories. But that raised several questions. First, why were his memories being used to form the contents of this space?
Second, was this an ability unique to the nightmares, or had all this happened because of his own peculiar nature?
Third, judging from the behavior of the two nightmares, they too seemed extremely surprised by their own changes. So what had nightmares been before those changes occurred?
Wu Pifu had far too many questions.
But it did not matter. Once daylight came, he would return to the kindergarten. Then, he would surely get some answers.
After leaving the park in the neighborhood, Wu Pifu looked at the streetlights on either side. One of them flickered faintly. In the shadow beneath it, he could vaguely make out what seemed to be a long-haired schoolgirl standing there, though he could not see her face. Her hair covered it.
No fucking need to guess.
