To the robed man and his companions, this was a terrifying beast. The most vicious of the five chromatic dragons, comparable to the gold dragons among the metallic good dragons. Once it reached adulthood, it was inevitably a legendary creature—a horrifying monster capable of breaking an army, destroying a city, or even toppling a nation by itself!
And the red dragon before them was fucking unbelievably an ancient dragon monk!
It was an ancient red dragon, a monk, and an ancient dragon monk capable of using monk talents, skills, and attack dice!!
The world the robed man and his group came from was a semi-datafied world. Its supernatural beings were all known as classes, and the strength of every being in that world was composed according to three core sets of data: Hit Dice, class dice, and item dice.
Among them, Hit Dice determined a creature's basic and innate attributes—for example, the upper and lower limits of its physique, intelligence, potential, and everything else. Every living being naturally increased its life level as it grew from childhood into adulthood, but most were limited by their potential and lifespan, unable to raise that level very high. Some beings, however, could raise their life level above twenty, thereby awakening numerous racial talents, personal talents, and so on. All such beings were collectively known as legendary creatures.
Ordinary mortals, however, were not incapable of rivaling legendary creatures. What they relied on was class levels—becoming supernatural beings. This was not much different from the supernatural paths Wu Pifu knew: obtaining a supernatural path, cultivating it, thereby increasing one's strength and evolving one's life level until one could rival legendary creatures.
