The bespectacled member of the Five Elders repeated the question, his voice deepening:
"Are you certain?"
"I saw it with my own eyes."
"And during the Paramount War, he took both of Blackbeard's fruits."
"The Blackbeard Pirates never even had a chance to fight back."
"What is the source of his strength?"
"A Devil Fruit?" the bald Elder asked.
"He has demonstrated several abilities."
"Spatial abilities, as well as an ability similar to Kizaru's Glint-Glint Fruit."
"But he isn't a Devil Fruit User."
Sengoku said, "He can touch seastone without suffering any effects."
At that, the Five Elders' brows furrowed even more deeply.
Being able to touch seastone meant he wasn't a fruit user.
Yet someone who wasn't a fruit user could defeat the Three Admirals bare-handed, take other people's Devil Fruits, and alter memories.
"Where did he come from?" the White-Robed Five Elders asked.
Sengoku hesitated.
He didn't want to say.
But with the Five Elders' gazes weighing down on him, he couldn't hold out.
"He came from the East Blue."
"He first appeared in Loguetown."
"But based on Tsuru's observations and my own interactions with him, he... may not belong to this world."
"What do you mean?" The bespectacled Elder narrowed his eyes.
"He has used expressions like 'this world.'"
"When describing his abilities, he uses different terms from ours."
"He calls the energy they cultivate chakra and says it is a power from his world."
"Tsuru suspects he came from another world."
The Five Elders fell silent.
Only after a long time did the White-Robed Five Elders speak:
"You may leave."
At those words, Sengoku inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. He bowed slightly, then turned and left.
After Sengoku left, the room remained quiet for a little longer.
"You all heard him."
