Dream. "Looks like I wasn't too late."

A crisp voice crashed down upon the deathly silent ruins, and the Tyrant's indistinct features twitched sharply.

He had just been staring at the mission on the scarlet panel, deciding to complete the first task.

Not even a living creature remained in all of Rock City. How had a living person suddenly appeared?

There was not even a speck of dust on the other man, making him utterly out of place amid the wreckage covering the ground.

"Who... are you?" The Tyrant's voice grated like rusty gears, and the greatsword in his hand slammed onto the rubble with a clang.

He had sensed it earlier. There was no longer a single living person in the city.

That was why the Tyrant was so shocked to see Xia Yuan.

The man raised a brow. His eyes gleamed with cold, sinister light beneath the clear moonlight as they swept over the resentment energy surging around the Tyrant. "A world-class bounty BOSS, the Tyrant? You're the one who destroyed Rock City?"

"Not me." The Tyrant nearly blurted it out. A stubborn fierceness showed beneath his blurred face. "The one who destroyed the city was a raid BOSS with blue scales. I killed him and avenged everyone in the city."

The man swept his gaze around the area. "Looks like you weren't lying."

He looked up, a casual hint of curiosity in his eyes. "Still, I'm curious. Why would a world-class bounty BOSS kill one of its own kind? Isn't that against the rules?"

The Tyrant froze.

His own kind? What own kind?

He lowered his head to look at his hands covered in metal armor, then touched his face, so blurred that even his features could not be made out.

Suddenly, his head began to ache.
