As One-Eye's words fell, the cratered sphere overhead began accelerating downward.
At first, the people in the live stream thought it was only an ordinary meteorite, neither particularly large nor particularly fast.
Some even joked in the scrolling comments:

It was not actually growing. It had simply been so far away that it looked small at first, and its descent had seemed slow.
When its outline became clear and its shadow began covering the entire area, blotting out half the night sky, everyone understood.
That was no fist-sized meteorite.
It was a colossal object several thousand meters across!
Compared with the meteorite Kuang Lan had created before, this sphere was several times larger!
Its surface was pitted and scarred, covered in craterlike depressions.
Silvery-white light shone from those depressions, radiating a suffocating pressure.
After a brief, deathly silence, the live stream's comments erupted like a tsunami:

"That's way more than a thousand meters across, isn't it?! You call that small?!"
