Heart-to-heart!
I've been writing this book for over a year now, and lately I've noticed a problem.
There seem to be too many characters. Even though I've tried hard to keep everyone from ending up at the school, whenever something happens in the story, I still can't act as if they don't exist!
I wanted to ask: among all these characters, which ones do you think have gone out of character?
I'll see if there's still a chance to fix them.
Sometimes I'm a little lost myself. The characters' images have always been in my head.
But I don't know whether they've changed in my writing over time.
Some things are worth reflecting on...
I might try to rein things in a little going forward...
From the very beginning, I've kept Alvin's goals and range of activity limited. Whenever he changes settings, it's because the plot calls for it; after a few chapters, he heads home.
The plot is only there to showcase Alvin's life...
At its core, this is just a big Hollywood movie-character party for an old man!
I don't know if that's a good way to do things, but I've been having fun with it.
Still, sometimes the results make me a little anxious...
I've said all this just to let everyone know Crutch is still working hard!
This dream still needs to be seen through...
I hope my book can bring you a little enjoyment in your spare time!
And I hope it can give me a satisfying ending, too!
