Alvin watched the little Fox floating back and forth in front of him, and nearly spat up a mouthful of blood.

Alvin had no idea that Venom, the little rascal, had found a new host. It was doing everything it could to help the fool angel who'd walked right into their trap win him over.

Steeltooth had missed out on a period of growth, after all. The blue flames seared his skin with a sizzling sound.

The mysterious patterns on his body began greedily absorbing the flames, channeling their energy along the paths of the markings and gathering it around his curved horns.

Only after more than ten minutes, when the horns on his head had absorbed all the flames, did Steeltooth finally settle down.

Alvin had no idea how a demon's advancement worked. He only knew that Steeltooth had looked like he was in a lot of pain.

But since Steeltooth had succeeded, there was no point wasting time. A little pain shouldn't be a big deal for a demon...
