They were naturally suited to playing the harmless fool while hiding their true strength...
Pandas were ferocious beasts, but for the sake of a bite to eat, they had willingly thrown in their lot with humans and made a living by acting cute.
From the day they were born, these black-and-white bundles of fluff had a whole team of "nannies" trailing behind them.
Those crappy pandas that didn't know how to be mothers usually only raised one cub.
If they gave birth to twins, they left the responsibility of raising the other cub to the keepers.
Feeding the panda cubs, cleaning them, and even teaching them to relieve themselves were all part of a keeper's job.
Meanwhile, those rough-and-ready panda moms would enjoy their postpartum feasts and play with the little ones under the keepers' disapproving, motherly stares...
