The battle at the Police Station ended quickly...

From the moment that master gunner was hit, the entire battle on the perimeter had turned around.

But the elite cannon fodder on the perimeter had still accomplished their mission: they had covered the assassins lying in wait inside the Police Station as they carried out their deadly attack.

They had won the battle, but Beckett didn't feel happy at all.

Of the three suspects she had arrested, one was still hovering between life and death, while the other two seemed utterly drained.

The overwhelming sense of inescapable fate had left them utterly dejected.

Beckett felt guilty, but she didn't know how to comfort the two suspects.

Nothing that had happened today had gone according to her plan. One unexpected event had followed another.

The Red Room's assassinations seemed to come from everywhere, leaving Beckett chilled to the bone.

When old-timer Michael saw that the chief was distracted, he stepped in to take charge of the aftermath.

The captured men still needed to be locked up, but the Police Station's battered little building looked ready to collapse at any moment. He had no choice but to lock the poor bastards in the garage out back.

The master gunner's real strength lay in hitting the crucial points of the Police Station with a few mortars that weren't even all that powerful.

Even a layman could see that the weather-beaten building was on the verge of giving out.

Duke led a team guarding the Police Station's half-ruined wall, facing off against the gangs who had come to watch.

Michael ordered everyone to retreat into the yard, then began assigning officers to clear the Courtyard with whatever tools they could find.

It was a complete disaster!
