Rousing music blared through Metropolitan Stadium...
The cheerleading squads from both teams stood on either side of the players' tunnel.
Metropolitan Stadium was practically the Wolves' home turf. The Hell's Kitchen team seemed to have the upper hand in every way.

A group of rather overdeveloped beauties from Blair High School wore glittering tube tops and hot pants. They danced casually to the music, pom-poms in hand, drawing cheers from a crowd of men along the sidelines.
The Battle Axe School cheerleading squad, dressed in their school uniforms, stood there listlessly, seeming out of place amid the lively atmosphere.
Hearing the whistles and jeers from the Hell's Kitchen crowd behind them, a tall Black girl leaned over to Gwen...
