Late at night, on a river in Borneo.

Alvin and the others sat on the deck of a pleasure boat, each holding a fishing rod and enjoying the fun of fishing.

But they weren't fishing for fish. They were catching one python after another.

The boat never stopped moving. Nick stood beside the wheelhouse on the second deck, an electric cable plugged into his leg. He held a huge spotlight in his hands and aimed it at the river.

Whenever he spotted the slightest movement, he'd shout instructions to his friends, telling them where to extend their fishing rods.

Then a python of one size or another would take the bait.

Some were little snakes, barely fifty centimeters long. Others were seven or eight meters.

If these creatures didn't look so ravenous, their coloring and appearance would make them ideal pets for many people.

But the way they wolfed down their food was so gruesome that it turned everyone's stomach.

Driven by hunger, these crazed pythons had even learned to cooperate.

A few small snakes could kill a large fish by wrapping around it, then use their newly evolved, razor-sharp teeth to cut it into bite-sized pieces and share the meal.

That was a little terrifying!

Ginny wore a pair of puncture-resistant gloves. Holding a one-meter-long python by the neck, she expertly straightened it out and stuffed it into a bamboo basket with barbs lining its opening.

They'd been given the baskets by a group of native refugees they'd encountered on the way.

The rainforest's indigenous people, who rarely saw outsiders, had also been driven by the Anaconda Disaster to seek refuge among the crowds.

Since the waterways weren't safe, Stark had put on his Iron Man Armor and towed the natives' small boats with a few cables, racing ahead
