Early the next morning.

Alvin stood on the deck, listening as Raymond briefed him on the news from back home.

He had no idea things would blow up this badly. The Southeast Asian armies were completely useless!

How could they lose to pythons with rifles and artillery?

What kind of combat ability was that?

Alvin was no military expert, so he really didn't understand how difficult rainforest warfare could be. Once those giant pythons entered densely populated areas, the military would be limited in the use of its most powerful weapons.

He glanced at Stark, who was drinking beer first thing in the morning, and said with a laugh, "What are you coming to me for?

"Are you ready to admit defeat?

"I can pay for a wedding dress for you. Consider it my blessing. Haha!"

Stark flipped Alvin off. "You wish!

"We'll reach the area where the giant pythons appeared tonight, and we'll end this disaster tomorrow.

"We'll be back in civilization in five days at most.

"We seem to have underestimated the giant snakes after all."

Stark nodded. "A hundred and fifty villages were attacked, and more than two hundred people died.

"If the Demon Hunters hadn't saved half the villages, the death toll would've been even higher.

"The Malaysian and Indonesian governments are painfully slow to act, and their armies are useless...

"The Indonesian army set fire to over a thousand hectares of rainforest and only managed to kill three giant pythons.

"At this rate, the whole of Borneo will burn down, and
