Having found the key to defeating the Aliens, Steve stopped bringing up the idea of going to Los Angeles to help.

Everyone present had seen combat. They were nothing like hotheaded youngsters such as Peter and Harry.

Alvin thought for a moment, then said, "This time, things are a little better than last time. At least we spotted them early.

"No matter what, they'll have to drift through space for a while, so we have plenty of time."

Steve had fought the Bugs on the front lines. He frowned. "Why are there more?
