In the garden outside the Reindeer Hotel, heaters surrounded the entire area, giving the female celebrities who couldn't find seats somewhere to chat and socialize.

Alvin led the three princes into the garden. He greeted a chef grilling Battle Axe steaks and asked him to save the ribeye for him, then grabbed a glass of whiskey from the self-serve bar.

When he saw Thor looking at him with disdain, Alvin rolled his eyes and didn't bother arguing with an idiot.

Whenever they drank the vintage wine from Odin's Vault, he was always the first to pass out. Somehow, that made it look as if he was the one who'd won.

Alvin raised his glass and clinked it against Volstagg's and Baal's. "You didn't come looking for me just to chat, so tell me what you want. I've got a feeling about this.

I still have to go back inside and entertain the guests!"

Volstagg took a sip of his drink and glanced at Baal. After hesitating for a moment, he said to Alvin, "The Dwarves are in a very difficult position right now.

The Bugs nearly breached our capital last time, and our supply lines are a complete mess.

They destroyed all our underground farms. Without a solution, some of the Dwarves are going to go hungry."

Alvin frowned at Volstagg. "Don't beat around the bush. How could the Dwarves possibly go hungry?

You can ask the Allied Forces for help at any time. Feeding you is no problem for them.

And if it comes to that, surely Asgard, your overlord, wouldn't just sit back and let you starve?"

Seeing the meaningful look on Volstagg's face, Alvin sighed. "All right, I get it!

You think asking the Allied Forces for full-scale help would be embarrassing, right?

What about Asgard?"
