Moloch's stockpile was quite interesting. The Moloch Royal Family had stored batches of demon embryos and Soul Stones over the generations, in case their entire clan was ever wiped out.
The amount they could store wasn't unlimited. After all, keeping the embryos properly preserved and asleep was no easy task.
So every so often, they replaced some of the embryos!
It was tradition, but Hell's structure had been set for many years before Alvin arrived, and the royal families hadn't fought any wars that wiped out entire bloodlines.
So people would occasionally "slack off"...
Tradition had to be observed, but there was a big difference between going through the motions and taking it seriously.
They were diligent about replacing relatively important troop types, while more obscure ones were left piled in corners to fend for themselves.
Of course, that made little difference to Baal now. It didn't matter much whether he used those old stocks or not.
He didn't even have enough Soul Stones to hatch a proper army. Why would he waste time worrying about those things?
Baal had once carefully explained his hatching strategy to Alvin: Mid-tier Demons like Fire Maggots, high-tier Lava Demons, large numbers of Hellhounds, and some high-tier warlords to serve as officers.
Baal's approach had made the Moloch Royal Family's army extremely specialized, but it allowed them to form a fighting force quickly.
Only when facing threats like Demon Assassins did he find himself stretched too thin.
Alvin had come this time to shore up one of his weaknesses!
Actually, Alvin would have preferred to see Baal develop an air force of his own, and he'd told Delia as much.
Delia's manners and bearing were impeccable, but that only made Alvin more wary.
No matter how beautiful she was, she was still a demon.
