Nick stared at Alvin in despair. "You can't do this. This really wasn't my idea this time. I just dipped Peter and the others' diplomas in the Stink Bomb. Who knew the stuff would be this terrifying when it caught fire?
"Alvin, I stopped the invasion right away. I did a good deed! Old Parker was way worse than me..."
Alvin sneered. "That has nothing to do with me. All I know is you must've played a part in this, or Old Parker never would've thought of the Stink Bomb.

Nick looked at the students already lining up. Gritting his teeth, he rushed over and dragged Pietro away from a Swan Girl he was chatting up. Then he pushed Morgan, who Ginny was holding, through the Space Gate. Finally, he looked at Richard, who was holding Mjolnir, hesitated, then said, "Buddy, take Mindy and Harry with you..."
Richard was wondering whether he should return Mjolnir to where it belonged. Hearing Nick's instructions, he asked curiously, "What are you planning to do?"
Nick gritted his teeth and glared at Peter and the others, who were trying to sneak away nearby. He gave a sinister grin. "I'm definitely taking on more responsibility. Don't worry about it. Just take Mindy and the others with you."
Pietro had started rubbing his hands together as soon as he heard "more responsibility." He looked at Nick excitedly. "What responsibility? Is Principal Alvin taking us to wipe out the last of the Demons?"
