Alive and updating again tonight!
Things really have been hectic lately. There's been a lot to deal with at my kid's school, plus other family matters have been taking up my time. With everything so overwhelming, it hasn't been the right time to write the ending.
Actually, I'd already planned out the ending when I first started this book.
Back then, I imagined an epic, grand-scale war as the finale.
But more than two years have passed. The book has changed, and so has Crutch, so the old ending no longer fits.
That kind of melodramatic, tragic ending doesn't suit Alvin now, and it doesn't suit Hell's Kitchen either.
After writing this much, I absolutely won't give up.
I've got my hands free now. Starting today, I'll update every day and won't slack off. I'll see this book through to the end in one go.
