Afterword

I could have written another several tens of thousands of words, but when I actually sat down to write, I realized there was no need.

How to take down Thanos, how to end the battle—it all seemed unnecessary.

This book was never really about the battles. I'd laid out enough epic scenes to give my readers room to imagine the rest, and I felt that was enough.

It's a shame so many characters never got the chance to shine by the end. But I can honestly say I've finished writing the Hell's Kitchen I imagined for Alvin, along with all the movies and characters I've loved over the years.

937 days, 7.18 million words. As a newcomer, I'm very pleased with myself. But when I really reached the end, I felt hollow inside, as if my heart had been scooped out...

But nothing in this world is perfect, and I'm already more than satisfied with how things turned out!

I plunged into this line of work full of passion and gained so many readers...

Thank you for encouraging me, for being willing to listen to me ramble, and for accompanying me all this way. Thank you for giving me the chance to dream...

Thank you! I'm grateful!
