1. Druid attributes: Strength: 20, Dexterity: 20, Vitality: 20, Vigor: 20
An ordinary person's four attributes are around 5, while a few top-tier people can reach around 10 (Frank Castle). Although the protagonist doesn't know martial arts or how to fight, he's ruthless and hard-hearted, so having 20 in all four attributes makes him pretty formidable. In my book, most characters feel pain when they get hit, and die when they get shot. I actually really like Tony Stark as a character. The Iron Man in the movies is pretty likable too. To sum it up, Iron Man fits most people's understanding of science, and his abilities can all be explained scientifically.
2. Druid summoning skills.
Summon Crows: Summons little birds to attack enemies and scout.
Venomous Flower Vine: Summons vines that travel underground and poison anything they touch.
Oak Sage: Summons a kind of "spirit" that increases your health and stamina after possessing you.
Summon Ghost Wolf: Summons five wolf companions with mysterious abilities.
Summon Corpse-Eater Vine: Summons a vine that travels underground, devours corpses, and restores vitality.
Heart of Wolverine: Summons a kind of "spirit" that increases your damage after possessing you.
Summon Dire Wolf: Summons two wolves that are stronger than Ghost Wolves.
Summon Sun Vine: Summons a vine that travels underground, devours corpses, and restores Vigor.
Summon Thorn Spirit: Summons a kind of "spirit" that grants you the ability to reflect damage after possessing you.
Summon Grizzly: Summons a grizzly bear that's stronger than a Dire Wolf.
The final say on exactly how powerful they are belongs to the author. Haha!
3. Runewords are a direction for future upgrades. There are 33 runes, each with its own purpose. There are dozens of Runeword combinations, and I'll explain them in the book when they appear.
Lastly, there won't be any X-Men in this book. They're way too powerful, and they're not the kind of thing I want to write about at my age. X-23 is my one indulgence—I like that character too much. And she definitely won't upset the balance.
What I actually want to write is how the protagonist starts interacting with some familiar heroes through a few clever setups.
There's actually a character who's already appeared in the book, and I'm sure you can't guess who he really is. I've hidden him pretty well, and I'm planning to spring a surprise on you in a few days.
