When Alvin and the others' plane flew over Alaska, Happy, who was piloting, suddenly cried out, "Something's following us..."
Alvin was already a little nervous about flying, and the older man's shout made it worse. He looked at Stark, seated beside him, and said, "What could it be? I fucking hate running into enemies in the sky..."
Stark stood up and gave Alvin a disdainful look. He was about to head for the cockpit to check when, before he could take a step, everyone heard a hoarse voice come through the channel their Communicators usually used. "Open the door. You go off to war without inviting me? That's disrespectful!"
Hearing the voice, Alvin let out a breath of relief. "Ivan, you bastard, weren't you hanging out with Barney? I heard you've been up to quite a lot lately..."
Ivan sounded impatient over the Communicator. "But I'm sure none of it's as big as what you're doing now. Open the door already. My Mech Armor's engine is starting to overheat..."
Alvin laughed and gestured to Happy in the cockpit, then tightened his seat belt.
The Cobra plane they'd captured was extremely advanced. Happy showed off as he brought it to a hover, then opened the side hatch.
Alvin rolled his eyes, refusing to look at Stark's mocking expression. Instead, he shouted to Ivan, who was climbing aboard along with a rush of cold air, "You bastard, aren't you afraid of getting shot down? You don't have a Military identification code!"
Ivan stood upright inside the cabin and rapped roughly on his Mech Armor's helmet. A few jets of gas shot from the neck of the suit. He took off his helmet and looked at Alvin. "It's a perk of working for Church."
