Nick Fury, standing in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier's Control Room, stared at the snowflakes swirling in the distance with his one good eye and murmured, "So this is Alvin's power..."
The Helicarrier's Commander, Victoria Hand, a cool-faced beauty with glasses, listened to the alarms flashing incessantly throughout the Control Room, then issued an order over Nick Fury's shoulder. "Fall back! Full speed!"
The curly-haired technician from earlier curled his lip and nudged the blond technician beside him. Amused by the look of terror on the man's face, he chuckled. "You're scared too? It's just a heavy snowfall. Maybe it's some kind of weather weapon..."
The blond technician ignored the curly-haired idiot beside him and stared at the nearby window, where frost was already forming on the glass. "What kind of snow is this cold?
It's usually 24 degrees in here. How do you feel right now?"
Nick Fury looked at the chaotic Control Room and glared furiously at the Helicarrier's Commander, Victoria Hand. He resolved to launch a thorough reorganization once this was over. These agents were so stupid and arrogant that Nick Fury was embarrassed for them.
While everyone in the Control Room was talking over one another, the blond technician suddenly pointed out the window and cried in shock, "Look! What's happening over there?"
As the blond technician shouted, the snowflakes in the distance swept outward in every direction. The Helicarrier was retreating at full speed, but it clearly wouldn't get out of danger before the snowflakes reached it.
