Alvin had changed back into his clothes in the locker room and returned to the field just as the Champion's ceremony ended.

When all the Wolves players put on their medals and passed the trophy around, the atmosphere in the stadium reached another fever pitch.

For the first time, Hell's Kitchen had won an honor. The community school had brought together all the goodwill in the neighborhood, and whenever the school achieved something, everyone here was happy for it.
