Alvin wanted to get a nice tan, so he'd gone shirtless ever since they set out on the yacht. Wearing nothing but a pair of swim trunks, he let the sun work its magic.

Little Ginny crouched beside Alvin and watched as her dad cruelly impaled a live, wriggling Chub Mackerel, nearly forty centimeters long, on an enormous hook, then tossed it into the sea as bait.
The little girl gave the bucket of bait beside Alvin a dissatisfied look. It was full of live baitfish.
She wrapped her arms around Alvin's leg and shook it hard. "Dad, you can't do that. The big fish will be uncomfortable..."
Ginny's sudden burst of compassion took Alvin by surprise. He smiled and patted her head. "Then what should we do?"
