Ever Seen Anyone Ride a Shark?

The Sea Performance Center, right by the shore, was preparing a Mosasaurus feeding show.

Some knowledgeable visitors had already taken seats in the front row.

Mornings were when the Mosasaurus was hungriest. Its feeding show was most spectacular at that time of day.

As several staff members hoisted a shark over three meters long onto a steel cable to feed the Mosasaurus, one of them looked out at the water around the Sea Performance Center and said in surprise, "What's wrong with it? It looks really agitated!"

The other staff members curiously looked out at the water. From their high vantage point, they could see a gigantic creature below the surface, swimming back and forth in a frenzy.

The Mosasaurus's enormous body sent wave after wave across the surface as it swam at speed, as if it could leap out of the water at any moment. The atmosphere throughout the Sea Performance Center suddenly grew tense.

Dozens of early-rising visitors excitedly pulled out their cameras, ready to capture the sight of a furious Mosasaurus getting its breakfast.

The Mosasaurus had seemed a little too docile over the past few days. Today, it was clearly different. The visitors felt they might be in luck!

While the staff members were still trying to figure out what was going on, the Mosasaurus swimming at high speed seemed to have built up enough momentum. It used the circular enclosure to accelerate.

Then it executed a sharp turn directly opposite the staff members up above and charged toward the gate beneath them.

"What's it trying to do? What's it trying to do..." A young staff member gripped the railing in front of him and cried out in terror. "It's not feeding time yet..."
