Talking About the Plot
Crutch did his best, anyway. We just couldn't have everyone end up fighting a Civil War!
First, why did I put a part of Civil War here? Because without Ultron, there was no Sokovia falling, which meant no agent whose name I couldn't even remember...
I could've forced it, but I'd have felt it didn't fit the story's development.
At first, I imagined this part as a fierce conflict. The outcome would've been the same, but the process a little different.
But when I actually started writing, I realized it was pretty difficult.
I've been through this before: spending three or four days of updates on a story that was bound to be a struggle with little reward!
Because it's hard to get readers to empathize with anyone in this situation!
Especially in a fanfiction like this, where everyone has their own favorites and their own interpretations of the characters!
This book is a feel-good story for the whole family, and those familiar plotlines are really just the main thread.
Most of the story is filled out by other movie characters whom Crutch particularly likes.
Fanfiction, after all, is meant to make up for regrets!
Civil War was a regret, so Crutch wanted to make up for it in his own way!
One last thing: this is how Crutch understands the Civil War storyline. It's fine to disagree, but please don't insult anyone!
