Alvin learned that Sesk and the alien Lang had stolen the Tesseract and might activate it in Harlem, prompting him to rush back to New York. Dr. Selvig warned that the stolen stabilizer could cause catastrophic spatial tremors, and Alvin realized his iridium might be needed to prevent them.

Aboard the helicarrier, Thor arrived just in time to divert Dr. Selvig’s suicide attempt, leaving Stark to question whether he had come alone.

• A spherical alien ship appeared over the Stark Convention Center and dropped beastmen onto the pyramid, where JJ rallied the security guards with his war hammer’s aura.
• JJ summoned Fat Bear Dabai, which charged toward the pyramid but broke through its transparent wall and plunged into the building.

• Odin urged Alvin to close the Space Portal, but Alvin put on the Warrior III and chose to fight the Demons and Chitauri in Hell.
