On the other side, Yuanshi Tianzun had already locked in battle with God.
God stood amid holy light, its radiance soaring into the heavens around him. Within that light, there seemed to lie the mighty power of creation and the majesty of judgment.
He slowly raised his hand. A pillar of pure white light crashed down from the heavens, heading straight for Yuanshi!
Yuanshi stood beneath the holy light, primordial azure qi circulating around him.
He slowly raised his hand, and the power of the Great Dao's true body became a mysterious screen of light stretched across his front.
The pillar of holy light crashed into the screen, sending radiance bursting across the sky, but ultimately failed to pierce it.
"Your Dao is the Dao of creation, the Dao of judgment."
Yuanshi spoke slowly.
"But my Dao is the true body of the Great Dao, the Dao of opening the tribulation and beginning the origin.
"Even if your Dao of creation can create worlds, it must still have its tribulation opened and its origin begun by me, the true body of the Great Dao, Opening the Tribulation and Beginning the Origin."
"Before me, your Dao ultimately falls a step short."
God's figure within the holy light spoke slowly:
"The true body of the Great Dao? What a boast.
"Let me see whether this true body of the Great Dao of yours can withstand the judgment of my holy light!"
As his words fell, the holy light suddenly surged.
Around God, it seemed to become a pure white sun.
Like a vast ocean, the holy light surged toward Yuanshi, bearing down on him!
Within the holy light.
There seemed to be the singing of angels, the prayers of saints, and the trumpets of judgment, with endless majesty and mercy woven together.
