Refining the formation flags for the Zhoutian Star Dou Great Array was the most pressing task.
The foundation of this great array lay in three hundred and sixty-five Star Banners, corresponding to the three hundred and sixty-five principal stars of the heavens.
Each flag needed the corresponding Star Origin as its core, supplemented with innate spiritual materials, before it could bear the Power of the Stars and stir the resonance of Zhou Tian Xing Dou.
Pan Xuan did not rush to begin. Instead, he first made some arrangements in the main chamber of Pangu Hall.
He spread the Zhoutian Star Chart flat on a stone platform, then arranged the thirteen pieces of Spirit Jade containing the Star Origins one by one according to the positions on the chart.
He placed the Sun Origin and Taiyin Origin in the center, the Ziwei Emperor Star Origin due north, and the remaining three hundred and sixty-two origins around the Sun and Moon according to their respective stellar positions.
Lights of various colors interwove and flowed across the stone platform: gold, silvery white, purple, crimson, deep black, icy white, earthy yellow, verdant green, sharp metal, thunder, lightning, poisonous miasma, and storms.

The Twenty-Four-Grade Creation Green Lotus slowly revolved beneath the vaulted ceiling, casting down a wash of Light of Chaos that enveloped those Star Origins.
Pan Xuan moved the Creation Cauldron from a corner of the hall to beside the stone platform. The ancient, simple runes on its body glimmered beneath the green lotus's light, giving off an aura of Returning to the Origin.
