Seeing that Tathagata Buddha intended to make a move, Manjushri could not help but feel secretly pleased. After all, this was precisely the outcome the Teaching of Elucidation wanted.
However, he put on a troubled expression and said to Tathagata Buddha, "Buddha, this matter requires careful consideration."
"If we go to war with the Teaching of Elucidation directly, the road ahead for the westward journey will likely become even harder. The Teaching of Elucidation will certainly make trouble at every turn, perhaps even stop the journey altogether."
Tathagata Buddha waved his hand. "I have my own plans. Our Buddhist Sect may not need to act personally to accomplish this."
After speaking, he said directly to Ananda beside him, "Bull Demon King and the others joined our Buddhist Sect but have yet to render any service. Leave this matter to them."
