Song Wen looked at the shopkeeper before him, his face filled with shock and doubt.
"You're saying Jia Hongyu was only at the peak of Void Refinement, and that he died ten years ago? Then why does the Jia Family still dare to occupy a forbidden zone a million li across, even barring all outsiders from entering?"
The shopkeeper was a white-haired old man at the nascent soul early stage.
He raised his eyes and glanced at the street outside the shop.
The street was so deserted that sparrows could have nested at the doors; only he and Song Wen were inside the shop.
Then he lowered his voice.
"There is something you don't know, Senior. Including Jia Hongyu, the Jia Family had five Void Refinement cultivators in total. Although Jia Hongyu had the highest cultivation in the family while he was alive, his death did not greatly affect their overall strength.
