"Extreme Yin, did you get anything out of it?" Ying Wu asked.
"It called itself the Void Beetle Race and claimed to come from the void," Song Wen said.
"The void?" Ying Wu's eyes narrowed slightly, shock mingling with doubt. "Then Mountain-Crushing City's destruction was not a man-made disaster, but the work of this Void Beetle Race?"
"That appears to be the case for now. We just don't know how much of what this beast said can be trusted." Song Wen swept his gaze over the other poisonous insects nearby, intending to interrogate them all and compare their answers.
Suddenly, the Kui Bull let out a low growl.

Song Wen and Ying Wu immediately sensed that something was wrong. Their divine senses and gazes both turned westward.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Void Beetles beat their wings as they arrived from the distant horizon, a black mass blanketing the sky.
"They came at just the right time." Song Wen smiled.
Among the approaching Void Beetles, three possessed seventh-order strength. They would likely yield more useful information.
